Colt Pre-War 1st Generation Single Action Army with 4-3/4" Bbl, chambered for .38 Spl, with 2 line Bbl address. Marked on left side of Bbl "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY 38 SPECIAL" 2 line patent marking on frame with Rampant Colt. Matching serial numbers on frame, trigger guard and backstrap. 2 piece checkered hard rubber grips with Rampant colt monogram at top. Excellent retaining over 95% blue finishes with most all case colors remaining, bore and chambers are brilliant bright, grips are very fine with a slight amount of wear, a very fine pre-war example of a Colt single action, mechanically excellent.
