???Seriously, lots of work involved in opening up your favorite 98 Mauser. This cartridge was designed specifically to work in a Standard length 98 Mauser. And work it does when properly gunsmithed. Not excessive recoil if you build a 12 lbs. Rifle. Scope not recomended though unless you are confident in eye relief.
This piece came directly from Ted Blackburns shop to mine years ago. ( New/ old stock) come with correct follower.
