Description:
Nice 1955 pre 64 M70 with a 338-06 barrel. Satin finish. Wood is nice with a little figure. Trigger is very good, crisp, breaks clean. Jeweled bolt. Added a recoil pad LOP 13.25"I bought it years ago. Leupold bases.
I' did mark the rifle when shooting off a log and a branch for a rest, got the floor plate and the indent on the stock in the fotos.
Shot two nice elk and then had Jim Brockman build a Premier practical rifle for me in 338-06. Havent shot this since.
It shoots well with Nosler 200 gr accubond ammunition. I have 3 boxes of the Nosler ammo I will sell for $150.00 to the purchasor of the rifle only. I have 20 rounds of once fired Nosler 338-06 brass that will come with the ammo.
