Remington Model 550-1 - Semi - Auto .22 Rifle - Smooth pistol grip style stock and forend with butt plate in excellent condition. 24 In. long barrel with adj. open rear sight and a front bead sight. Tubular magazine will accept 20 Shot, 17 Long and 15 LR ammo. Receiver grooved for scope. Includes a Weaver Model V- 22 scope and rings in very good condition with clear lens. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 90% bluing. Stock and forend are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks . Includes a new soft sleeve. The overall condition is excellent considering the age of the rifle. The 550-1 known as extremely accurate and reliable. Manufactured from from 1941 to 1970. This one was manufactured in 1957. Nice addition to any collection.
