Serial number 311159. Made in 1909. 45LC caliber with a 4 ¾" barrel. Nice sharp gun with an even gray patina. All markings are nice and clear. The “W. F.  & Co" marking is on the butt. This is a completely authentic Wells Fargo marked Colt Single Action! This gun comes with a factory letter confirming the configuration.  The letter even mentions the Wells Fargo marking on the butt and has the shipping address to Wells Fargo in care of William Ashton who was the purchasing agent who ordered theses guns.
