Description:
Beautiful sub gauge gun made in 1954 with 26" Improved Cylinder choked barrel that has factory original Donut post ventilated rib. Gun with nicely checkered flame grained American Walnut stocks with original finishes throughout. Original jeweled bolt and carrier. Frame with original blue. Mag tube with original engraved Pigeon and SN stamps.
Overall, the gun remains in excellent original condition. Barrel with about 98% original blue. Frame with more than 97% original blue with a couple of minor light handling marks. Stocks are excellent to near mint with nearly all of their original finishes remaining. Bore is brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are perfect.
This is a very rare and collectible Model 12 which comes to me from an old collection. The collector stopped buying Model 12's more than 30 years ago and this gun has been in that collection for more than 35 years. It is a very rare gun that should be celebrated!
