Serial Number 2181 Bbl, 6" Caliber .45 Centerfire Mfg, Circa 1863. Manufactured during the US Civil war and later exported to Germany where converted to centerfire. "U" Crown proofs evident on cylinder, Bbl and frame. Rust blue finished with oil finished one piece walnut stock. Barrel is bored smooth at time of conversion.Barrel and cylinder have a assembly number of "33" Believed to have been utilized for the Franco Prussian conflict. Condition, Very fine with bright bore and excellent chambers. Action operates properly. Grips have bruises and impressions with a small amount of material loss. Revolver retains over 80% rust blue finish. ANTIQUE"
