Description:
Prussian Charles Daly Superior Grade in 20 gauge made in Prussia. Original finishes throughout. Elegant narrow action, about 1 1/3" wide at hinge pin weighing 5 lbs 9 1/2 OZ. All option gun with cocking indicators, well timed ejectors, auto safety, side clips and a Greener style third fastener. Chambers are 2 3/4". Mirror bores measuring .640, correct as proof stamping was "18" indicating .637 range. Right barrel is a light IC while the left is an Imp Mod. Barrels are 28". No cracks to the wood. Barrels ring nicely. Barrels have some light finish wear towards the breech area. Excellent stock dimensions for an early gun with LOP of 14 1/2". Drop at comb - 1 7/16". Drop at heel - 2 5/8". Pachmayr Decelerator Sporting Recoil Pad. Small bore vintage graded Charles Daly guns are rarely seen in this condition. Shipping is $75.
