Serial No. 149340, made in 1863, .36 caliber, 7.5"" octagonal barrel. Bore is good with frosting and oxidation visible in the grooves. Rifling remains strong. Serial numbers are matching, wedge is not marked. Finish is a grey patina with markings legible, faint traces of cylinder scene remains. Action indexes correctly with a good lock up. Grips have expected nicks dings and scratches. Paperwork that comes with this states its attributed to Captain James Comings of the 15th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry including his watch, bible, portable mirror and photos.
