"SN: 20123. Made around 1880, converted .45-70 with a 22"" barrel. Bores are excellent. Boxlock extractor gun that's been sleeved to .45-70. The work was not done in England, there are no proofmarks for the rifle cartridge. The barrels have patina with visible damascus pattern. Modern fiber optic rifle sights have been installed. The engraved receiver has no finish remaining. The figured walnut stock has been lightly sanded and is in very good condition. An interesting and unusual double rifle, in good condition.
