Description:
Very rare and all original gun made with 26” Carmen fluid steel brls, 2-1/2” chambers, that have matted top rib with small brass front bead. Splinter forend checkered in diamond pattern with steel tip, lightly engraved escutcheon, and blued iron. Casehardened side plated receiver is lightly engraved with wave border pattern and light scroll center. Bottom of frame with light burst of scroll. Blued trigger guard with light scroll on bow. Gun made with double triggers, extractors, auto safety. Lightly figured capped pistol grip walnut buttstock checkered in 3 point pattern and terminates with its original lined HRBP. Watertable with “XX” small frame stamps.
Overall, the gun remains in excellent and collector grade original condition. Barrels with 95-97% original blue. Buttstock and forearm are crisp with 95-97% original finish and have only scattered minor handling marks. Locks retain nearly all of their original color. Bottom of frame retains about 30-40% of its toning original color. Trigger guard with about 1/2 of its original blue. Bores are brilliant and shiny mechanics are excellent.
