Exceptionally fine retaining 95% of its Colt factory parkerized finish, all markings are crisp and legible including the bright ordnance wheel inspection, the early wide reinforcing ringed Keyes grips are excellent, pistol retains checkered slide stop, checkered safety, grooved arched mainspring housing, narrow checkered hammer, stamped checkered trigger, mechanically excellent. Manufactured in 1944. "G.H.D." inspector marked frame and "COLT 45 AUTO" marked barrel.
