Fine early example of the legendary Colt Peacemaker with 5-1/2 inch barrel chambered in .45 LC. Nicknamed "the good right arm" of lawmen and outlaws alike on the American Frontier. This Colt retains over half of the original nickel with some scattered patches of light pitting typical of a well used working gun. Grips show some wear but retain a good amount of varnish. Matching numbers on the frame, trigger guard and back strap. Nice action. Comes complete with a Colt Factory Letter. Your opportunity to own a piece of American History from 1888.
