THIS FIREARM HAS BEEN SOLD Winchester 1886. SN# 131955 Made in 1903. Up for sale is a Winchester 1886 lever chambered for the .45/70 with 22" barrel. I purchased this rifle from Winchester employee Edward Ulrich in 1976. Before retiring from Winchester, Mr. Elrich was involved in traveling around the USA helping to setup gun clubs and to promote Winchester products to the shooting public. I meet Mr. Ulrich at a gun club in Kansas. Over the years I purchased several guns from him and we became good friends. This rifle has some highly figured wood in both the stock and forearm. The gun was refinished by Winchester in the early 60s and has remained in that condition as I have never fired it during the almost 50 years i have owned it. All equipment that you see in the pictures is as it was the day I purchased it. Freight and insurance 45.00
