Description:
Winchester Model 1886 Lightweight lever action rifle chambered in .33 Winchester Center Fire. The serial number (118226A) dates the rifle to 1898. Features include 24-inch round blued barrel and color casehardened receiver. Factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver suggest that it was returned to the factory in or after 1905. .33 Winchester was introduced to the market in 1902, so a factory re-barrel would explain the chambering. Professionally refinished bluing. .33 WCF
