Factory letter states a ship date of September 10, 1919, to Horace Partridge Co. in Worcester, MA, in .38 caliber with a 4" barrel and blue finish. With non-matching Colt Police Positive box. Exceptionally fine retaining 98% factory blue finish with a touch of edgewear at high points and heel from box, grips are near perfect, a couple of small impressions exist on butt believed to be from cleaning rod in box, all markings and legends are crisp, factory hang tang is slightly soiled, box remains fine with excellent label, factory letter remains as issued, mechanically excellent.
