Description:
Serial #9152, .410 Gauge (3 inch chamber), 26 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Long Range Field & Trap single barrel shotgun manufactured by the Lefever Arms Co. in Ithaca, NY from 1927-1942. It has the roll engraved flying goose above "LEFEVER ARMS CO. ITHACA N.Y." on each side of the frame. In excellent overall condition the barrel retains about 95-97% of the original blue with freckling in the breech area and the frame and trigger guard show about 80-85% blue that is fading to grey in the carry points with some scattered use marks. The checkered walnut stock and forearm are solid with scattered old use marks and shallow contusions. The lock up is tight with the lever just right of center and this is equipped with a tang safety. A very nice Model 2 in a very desirable gauge. FFL or C&R
