1970 - Simson, Suhl - Model 84E - 12ga, 2-3/4", 28" Bohler Steel Barrels, IM / F (.030 / .040), Ejectors, Double Triggers - Front Articulated, LOP 14-1/2", Drop 1-1/2" to 2-1/2", Very Slight Cast Off, Weight - 6 lbs. 14 oz.
Simson Guns during this period were produced in the same factory as Merkel, Sauer, Buhag, and Fortuna. It is identical to a Merkel 201E - but I don't think I've seen a 201E this nice.
Looks and feels like a Brand New Gun. There are a couple of spots of patina, but feels factory fresh.
