Description:
This 1985-86 K-frame six shot double action/single action revolver is a Smith & Wesson 66-2 chambered in .357 Magnum. It has a 6-round fluted cylinder, a somewhat scarce 2½ inch solid ribbed barrel, a ⅛ inch serrated red ramp front sight, an adjustable micrometer click white outline rear sight, a smooth curved trigger, a shrouded ejector rod with textured knob, and is 7½ inches in overall length. The front strap and rear strap have 10 grooves. The Model 66 was initially released in 1970. The Model 66-2 change eliminated the pinned barrel and recessed charge holes in the cylinder. The left side of the barrel is marked "SMITH & WESSON". The right side of the barrel is marked "S.& W. 357 MAGNUM". The right side of the frame, below the cylinder, is marked with the four-line marcas registradas address. The sides of the grip frame and yoke have inspection marks. The hammer is checkered. The rear of the cylinder is stamped with "F." The stainless steel finish is in very good condition, with some noticeable light handling wear. The wood stocks are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or marks observable. .357 Magnum
