Remington Model 40-X Target Rifle chambered in .22-250 Remington. This is a heavy barrel bolt action bench rifle, manufactured from 1959-1966. The barrel length is 27 inches. It has a rail for scope mounting on the receiver. The left side of the receiver is also drilled, tapped, and filled for mounting an aperture sight. The LOP measures 13 1/2\" from the front of the trigger to the back of the rubber recoil pad. The barrel finish is stainless, and the bore is bright, and the rifling is sharp. The action functions correctly. Caldwell bi-pod.
