Antique US Model 1884 Springfield Trapdoor 45-70 caliber Ramrod bayonet style Army Rifle. The full two band dark walnut stock is in good condition eith the usual dents and wear of a military rifle. The full 32.5" barrel has both front and rear buffington sights present and a good clean bore. The functioning lock is marked US Springfield with the American eagle. The breach block is tight and marked US Model 1884. All metal parts have a smooth brown patina. The rifle is complete with sling swivels and cleaning rod.
