Here is a entry level S & W Safety First Model revolver for the begining collector,or type collector.It has smooth metal with being shiney and how much is original,or from use,I do not know.It does look pretty good.Barrel lockup is good,Mechanical works well,and the hestitation cycle also works well on all 5 chambers.Grips look good with no cracks ,or pieces gone. Chambers are good with bore having usual pitting from black powder use. The numbers match and fall about half way in the production run,making it an antique.It is in .32 S & W caliber and has a 3 inch barrel.I sell antique guns for collecting and display use.If one intends to use,the revolver has to be checked out for safety and proper load. Though this is an antique under federal law,there are some big cities and States ( such as N.Y. , N. J. & etc. ) I cannot sell to !
