Description:
Springfield Gibbs M1903A4 Sniper Rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield. Gibbs Rifle Co. built M1903A4 rifles, using all new parts except for the actions. A new four-groove barrel was installed, and the receiver was properly drilled and tapped. The appropriate replicas of original-type mounts and rings are complemented with a 2.75x Weaver 330 scope. The barrel is marked "G R / crown / 5-09". The new production stock has a linseed oil finish. The 2-piece hardwood stock has a pistol grip, metal nosecap, stacking loop, barrel band, two sling loops, two through bolts, cutout for the bolt handle, scallop under the magazine cutoff and a metal buttplate with hinged door for storage. The cutout for the bolt handle is slightly swept to the rear to match the 1903A4's modified bolt handle. The LOP measures 13 inches from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition. The bore shines and the rifling is sharp and deep. .30-06 Springfield
