Description:
Savage 1899a lever action chambered in rare 38-55. Manufactured in 1910 and in real good condition for its age. 26" barrel with good visible rifling. Does have some minor bore pitting likely from shorting black powder many years ago. Does appear to have had a stock repair at some point. There are 2 pins placed as pictured. The repair was done very well and hardly noticeable. Test fired.
