Description:
Very scarce factory nickel 3" Colt Detective Special with serial number matching original box dating production to 1965. This revolver remains in very high condition with no detractions. The original nickel finish still retains a beautiful shine over the entire frame. Overall the finish rates 98%. The cylinder face, recoil shield, and forcing cone are very clean with only a very faint turn line on the cylinder itself. The action is crisp with tight lock up, and the bore is clean with strong lands/grooves. The factory walnut grips show some some light wear, but are serial number matched to the gun. Original "Handling the Hangun" brochure and warranty registration card included in the box.
