Synopsis: Mauser, German P08 Military WWII Luger, 9mmP, 5266n, FB00756 Description: Mauser Luger made in 1942, a very attractive all matching restoration with reproduction grips and correct but unnumbered extruded magazine. This standard configuration gun has a 5 inch barrel with drift adjustable front sight, a “V” notched rear sight. Chamber dated “42”, toggle linkage with byf code. Full serial number on forward frame, under barrel, and on left side of barrel extention, last two digits on all the usuall matching parts except for an unnumbered rear toggle pin, magazine, and unnumbered reproduction grips. Additional markings include the caliber under the barrel and post war German proofing on the barred extention lug and inside frame adjacent to hold open. Import marks as photographed. Condition: Near 100% as refurbished with salt blue and strawed/fire blued small parts, the latter having been incorrectly restored as all small parts for this variation should also have been salt blued.
