We are offering for sale a 1944 Turkish MAUSER M1938 bolt action rifle chambered in 8mm mauser caliber. This rifle remains fully coated in cosmolene. It was purchased out of a large collection and remains uncleaned.
29.55" barrel is good with field wear; The bore has been cleaned to reveal a bright finish with crisp rifling. The action is good with wear. No damage noted. CROWN IS FULLY MARKED WITH "K.KALE" marking. Bolt functions well but needs a good cleaning. This is a non-matching numbers gu. The stock is good with plenty of authentic field wear; No apprent breaks or cracks. Buttplate is good.
