Synopsis: SIG Sauer, P228, Swiss Ticino Police, 9mmP, B197891, I-802 Description: Standard configuration SIG SAUER P228 with early drift adjustable night sights. Left side of slide marked SIG SAUER followed by the canton symbol of Ticino. The right side of the slide is marked with the model, along with the full serial number which appears on the left side of the barrel hood and right side of the frame. Year code "KD" under the nose of the slide reflecting manufacturer year of 1993. Fitted with two piece black plastic grips with a molded textured surface surrounding the model/manufacturer. High capacity double column magazine marked SIG SAUER, the zippered spine having indicator holes marked for 5/10/13 cartridges. Condition: VG+ original finish, with holster wear pattern consistent with light service use. Front strap scuffed as imaged. Comparable condition grips, with slightly burred screws. Magazine with insertional wear as photographed. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. A SIG Sauer Police variation seldom encountered in the United States.
