Description:
W&C Scott Model 400 Extra Finish 12 gauge ejector shotgun. This gun was made in 1920. This gun retains 95% original case color and high polish barrel and trigger guard blue. Double underbite with screw grip third fastener. Barrels have a swamped rib and are 30" with .732 bores and IC (7/1000) and Imp Mod (25/1000) Chokes. Chambers are 2 3/4". Right barrel is engraved "W&C Scott & Sons, Makers". Left barrel is engraved "55 Victoria Street, London England". A best quality Anson & Deeley boxlock with Southgate Ejectors. Ejectors are well timed. Disc set firing pins. The Model 400 was made famous by Percy Stanbury who was the best competitive shooter in England from 1926 to 1953 winning 47 Major English titles with a W&C Scott Model 400. Weight of the gun is 6 LBS 12 3/8 OZ. LOP is 14 1/16". Drop at comb - 1 1/2". Drop at heel - 2 5/8". Shipping is $75.
