Description:
Serial #AJ40243, .22 LR, 4 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Harrington & Richardson Model 622 revolver, first issue 4th variation manufactured in 1972. It is without the transfer bar ignition system and missing the manual "all-in-one" extractor of the earlier variations but featuring a solid frame, DA/SA with square butt. The DA/SA revolver is in excellent condition retaining about 97-98% of the original blue and matte metal finishes with some minor handling marks and and most of the loss due to a small spot of loss from oxidation on the trigger and an area of tiny tool marks along the cylinder. The hammer remains mostly bright and the black checkered synthetic Cycolac grips rate excellent. The action seems to function well mechanically. The original white and blue cardboard box is included that remains in very fine condition showing some light scuffs and handling marks with intact end label and serial number written in pen. An excellent 622 for the collector. FFL or C&R
