Description:
Belgain Browning standard 1 gauge built in 1949. this gun is in remarkable condition for its age. It retains 99% of the original blue and wood finishes. It has a 271/2" barrel choked full (.035") and chambered for 23/4" ammo. The bore is mint and the stock retains the original horn buttplate. The stock and forend are sound and free of any cracks or handling marks. The safety is the early style trigger guard safety typical of early A5s. It is very hard to find 75 year old Brownngs in this condition. After WWII, A5s were built by Remington using Belgian tooling while the FN factory was being rebuilt. This is one of those guns. Very collectible and a part of Browning history. C&R eligible. Price includes shipping to your FFL>
