Description:
Built in 1953-4 on the five screw K-frame this extremely interesting Pre Model 18 is equipped with a 4" barrel, factory blue and nickel finish, red ramp front sight, white outline rear sight and smooth walnut presentation magna grips. A supremely cool factory reverse two-tone aka 'Pinto' that comes in a very crisp gold picture box with the tissue wrap and helpful hints brochure. Note this gun has service department markings on the left grip frame where it was returned to the factory, likely to be upgraded into the Pinto configuration, on February 16, 1966. The gun retains 99% of the factory nickel and blue finish and is super nice in hand! The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the special ordered smooth walnut presentation magna grips are every bit as cool and fine as the gun itself. A really neat K-frame variant that will delight its new owner!
