Description:
This is a rare and desirable gap letter International Harvester M1 garand. The term "gap letter" is a collector term and is derived from the space in the lettering on the receiver. This one is in excellent condition. I am calling it correct in that all major parts appear to be IHC. The barrel is LMR as pictured. The stock has the Julian date. I am not an expert on the small parts, so please see the pics. Great barrel readings with a 1 MW as pictured. The TE is less than 2. Bore is shiny. No import marks. Overall a great gun for the collector or shooter. As usual, all guns should be checked out by a competent gunsmith prior to firing.
