Winchester 1894 Standard Rifle in 38-55 caliber
S/N 363793 made in 1906
26" round barrel with full length magazine tube
Strong original blue on barrel and mag tube, the latter showing a few twisting scratches towards the bottom
The receiver blue is fairly even, but turning a grey brown patina over much of it.
Original wood finish is clean with a few scattered mars and handling marks and wears a nice case colored crescent buttplate
Original sights consist of a dovetailed German silver front and Winchester sporting rear.
The mechanical functions are crisp and working properly. The bore is average with fully apparent rifling and no major issues, but does show an overall frost and some patchy darker areas.
