Description:
The Springfield Armory® 1911 Range Officer Compact Semi-Auto Pistol comes equipped with custom details to make it a great concealed carry gun. It is slim and lightweight for comfortable carry and stout enough to deliver threat-stopping shots on target. An aluminum alloy frame, anodized with a black hardcoat, keeps weight down and resists corrosion. An extended beavertail grip safety with a pronounced memory bump aids in getting a consistent hold on the pistol instinctively for delivering shots quickly; and the beavertail protects the Delta-style hammer when carrying the weapon cocked and locked. The extended thumb safety is quickly engaged on the left side of the frame. A flat mainspring housing and thin cocobolo grip panels are checkered to also aid in obtaining a sure hold. A stainless steel, match-grade bull barrel locks up with the parkerized steel slide to ensure maximum accuracy. The skeletonized speed trigger breaks crisp and clean. The 1911 Range Officer Compact Semi-Auto Pistol comes with a low-profile combat rear sight and a fiber optic front sight that work well under a variety of lighting situations. 9mm Parabellum
