A Very Early Civil War Deluxe Brass Bound Original Case With Accessories For A Percussion Colt Model 1862 Police Revolver Or An 1862 Pocket Navy Revolver With a 4 1/2" Barrel In Excellent Condition. All original & complete. The box has excellent deluxe burl wood throughout it. All the wood has an excellent color and grain to it. All of the corners on the top and bottom of the box are deluxe brass boun. There are also brass srews gouing around the top as shown. It has a stand up lid on it. The inside of the case is excellent throughout with an excellent original lining in it. All partitions are original. The case has a deluxe double brass clasp in the front. The accessories inside include an excellent "James Dixon & Sons" bag flask, a "Colt's Patent" .36 caliber bullet mold, an "Eley" lacqured cap tin, an oiler, and an original working key for the case.
