Belgian Copy of the ICONIC COLT 1851 NAVY
Here we present an antique Liege Proofed Copy of a Colt Model 1851 Navy Percussion Revolver, made circa the Civil War era in Liege, Belgium. The 1851 Navy was one of Colt’s most famous and successful lines, reaching a production total of 257,348 from 1850 to 1873 (right up to the time of SAA production) from both Hartford and London factories. Thus many other companies did their best to match and capitalize on the design.
The overall condition is good. Strong action. Bright bore. Legible markings. Solid grip. Liege proofed cylinder.
