Description:
Civil war holster for 1860 Army modified for N.Y. militia use. Modification included removing belt loop and adding western style loop and skirt. Cartridge loops that were under flap have been replaced with a leather reinforcement. Leather is stiff but still supple. Unit markings are too weak to make out.
