This first production run, Winchester 1894 lever action was manufactured in 1894 and has the serial number #21892. It has a 26-inch octagon barrel and is chambered in .38-55 W.C.F. The Winchester Model 1894 was the first commercial American repeating rifle built to be used with smokeless powder.
