Serial Number 2164 Bbl, 3 1/2" Cal, .31 Percussion Mfg, 1861. Developed by Elisha K. Root superintendent of Colt Mfg with side hammer and full fluted cylinder. Octagon Barrel with one piece varnished walnut grip. This same variation was adopted by the US Capitol Police to protect President Abraham Lincoln. Condition, Very good with over 75% vivid blue finish remaining. All markings and legends remain crisp. Action operat4es properly. Grip has some period of use bruises from carry use. Antique
