Description:
This scarce little trapper has a factory original 15 inch barrel chambered in 32 WCF caliber with a bright shiny near excellent bore. Sights include a pinned blade front and folding ladder carbine rear. Barrel and mag tube retain about half of the thinning blue. Receiver has turned a mottled grey/brown patina with some minor scattered pitting and a saddle ring on the left side of the frame. Wood has some dings and gouges but is solid with a carbine buttplate. Mechanics are excellent. Listed by serial number as cleared by the BATF in the Curio and Relics list 2018. Trappers were loved for their firepower and ease of handling making them a great tool on the western range. Manufactured 1916. Hard to find!
