Description:
Winchester Model 70 Super Grade Bolt Action Rifle chambered in .270 Winchester. This Super Grade features a highly polished, deeply blued steel and finely checkered, fancy grain walnut stock with shadowline cheekpiece. A one-piece steel bottom metal adds extra rigidity to the Super Grade's stock and action for improved accuracy. The super grade's shadowline cheekpiece is beautifully functional, placing your eye in perfect alignment with the scope. It has inletted sling swivel studs, a forged steel receiver with integral recoil lug, and controlled round feed with claw extractor fully controls the cartridge from magazine to chamber, to ejection. The three-Position Safety shows safety status at a glance. It has a recessed target crown. It is drilled, tapped, and filled for scope mounting. The .270 Winchester is a rifle cartridge developed from the .30-03 Springfield parent case that is necked down to 7mm. The cartridge is suitable for hunting deer-sized game at open ranges.
