Description:
This factory new Kimber Rimfire Compact Conversion Kit is chambered in .22 LR and fits Commander-sized mil-spec 1911 frames of various brands, including Kimber Ultra, Compact and Pro models. Its installation will only take a few moments and does not require any tools or gunsmithing. Kimber designed the Rimfire Compact Conversion Kit to have low recoil and light muzzle blast for ease of training.
The Rimfire Compact Slide is machined from aluminum and the 4-inch barrel is cut to critical match grade dimensions for accuracy. Fixed, low-profile sights are secured in machined dovetails and edges are rounded and blended. The conversion kit is designed to operate with high-velocity .22 LR ammunition and maintenance is similar to a centerfire 1911.
This Rimfire Compact Conversion Kit includes the conversion slide, barrel, recoil spring assembly, 10-round magazine, factory hard case, and a spacer that blends the 10-round magazine with a short-gripped pistol like the Kimber Ultra.
