Description:
Winchester Model 670 carbine. The predecessor to the Model 70. This is the Carbine version which comes with the 19" barrel and the caliber is .30-06 Springfield. The stock is a new Boyds Featherweight Thumbhole sporter that has sling swivel mounts, 2 up front for a sling and a bi-pod, and the one at the rear. The bottom of the forend is flat for comfortable shooting from a rest position. The stock and carbine style gives it great balance. Excellent for stalking or shooting from a blind. The rifle has both iron sights and comes with a Redfield Lo Pro optic, 4 x, with the post and crosshair reticle in the TV View. The scope may be vintage but it's clear, sharp, and the adjustments are solid. The scope rings are see-through for the option of using the iron sights. The rifle is accurate and in very good condition except for a small surface blemish on the right side end of the barrel. For additional pics or info feel free to contact me.
