Rifle is preowned and in gorgeous, gorgeous condition. Gloss remains beautiful, crown is in excellent shape, bolt looks fantastic. Bore is sharp.
Glass on the scope is in excellent condition, body looks great. Sling shows no signs of corrosion on hardware.
A Weatherby sleeve is included with purchase - it is assumed to be the original box but as there are no identifying marks on it, this cannot be verified.
Rifle was produced in the 1980s, as VGX‚‚s had a production run of 1983-1989 per Weatherby‚‚s serial number lookup.
The Vanguard VGX is a stunning Japanese rifle that is now discontinued, making these rifles in this good of condition very few and far between.
