Walther P38 ac40, Original with ALL matching numbers including the grips. The grips are original to gun and numbered and fit perfectly, no breaks, some scratches. The clip is not numbered to gun but has the correct two 359 stamps. The bore has excellent lands and grooves and no pitting inside,very minimal firing. The mechanism is excellent and tight yet smooth with safety lever working the hammer and trigger in the proper manner. My photos are not the best and I am not an expert on the Finish. I can see that the high spots and corners show wear, front strap etc. Also, the left side of the barrel has what appears like mild machine marks but am not certain, also little pitting on left side of sight ring. The left of slide next to P38 also has little pitting. Although this gun is a little dark, it is in my opinion a very wholesome early collectors gun.
