Smith & Wesson 629-2 Mountain Revolver .44 Magnum
The precursor to Smith & Wesson’s Mountain Gun line, the 629-2 Mountain Revolver was manufactured in 1989 with a run of 5000 made. It came stock with a stainless finish, a 4” lightweight barrel, chamfered cylinder, round butte frame, .400 semi target hammer, .312 smooth combat trigger, pinned black front sight and adjustable black rear sight. Product code was 103652.
This 98% Condition firearm is mechanically excellent with a tight lockup and bright shiny bore. It does exhibit a cylinder turn line and some minor handling marks which are displayed in photos # 5, 6, & 14. Overall an exceptionally fine revolver. Oriiginal box, tools and literature as shown are included.
