This rifle was manufactured during 1919 for the US Army. Most of these rifles were provided in .22 Short. A very few at the end of production were produced in .22LR. The rate of twist in the rifling differs.
The overall condition of this firearm is excellent. The action functions properly, ejecting the fired shell and leaving the hammer at full cock.
