Civil War 1841 Mississippi Rifle Barrel 58cal and Stock
Barrel is good used condition on the outside. The bore is about like you would expect with rust & pitting. Not terrible just normal for age & model. Inspectors marks on the breech. No rear sight.
The stock overall is solid in good condition with dings & scratches. There is one firm old repair in front of the side lock screw plate(see pic). Underneath the butt plate is a name & date carved in the stock. Both band springs are present. Over all length is 48 1/2" Barrel length is 33" Patch box opens & closes properly with a strong spring.
