As New In Box Uberti Model 1873 lever action rifle in .44-40 imported by Taylor's & Co. of Winchester, VA. Case color hardened receiver, lever, trigger, and bbl, with blued half round half octagon barrel, mag. tube, forend nose cap, and buttplate. Checkered wood pistol grip buttstock and forend. Dovetailed blade front sight with dovetailed square notch semi-buckhorn rear sight. Come in matching Taylor's & Co. importer/retailer box and some paperwork. From a defunct gun shop, it is like new, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory finishes overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Wood is excellent and retains sharp checkering overall. Box shows some mild exterior wear. Out of stock at Taylor's. $1300 + Shipping.
